Writing Messages/alliance forum posts

So i was wondering if i was doing anything wrong and cant send IGM.

Because i see the square brown box below the most recent post/message and i assume thats where i type text. but no matter where i click, double click or type, i cant get any text to appear
is there something im missing or is this a bug?

Have you tried clearing your cache and cookies and reloading? Or another browser? That often solves problems.
