Tribal rankings

So what decides how you are ranked in your tribe? an example of a tribes rankings go like

400K
80K
190K
...
400K
...
240K
330K

And there is no other pattern i can find as villages, PPV, Global rank, and everything else about these players is just as sporadic.

Have you tried clicking on "points", it will sort from low to high or the other way around

I know how to sort them to see it however i want. i was just wanting to know how the # column Was assigned. As in what decides which player of a tribe is the #1 player?
