Hello community,

i haven't played the game yet, but Im totally sure that the game dont have this feature.
I was about to read this topic http://forum.beta.tribalwars2.com/forum/the-town-square/ideas-and-suggestions/1265-weather and my idea just plopped in my mind!

What would be If the game has weather?
Everyone on the server should have the same weather ofc.
Let's say the server is in.. uhm, Sweden (Idk why Sweden).
Now, If it's snow in Sweden it should snow Ingame too AND your units should be slower because the snow!
And when it's too hot (lets say about 40 degrees) the units should do a pause while walking.

What do you guys think about this idea?
Perhaps someone want to add something?
Feel free to post!

Nope. It would change the tide in a war... Just imagine that you've a plan for let's say 200 attacks on some players a standard time. And it "snows"-as you say- it would ruin everything.. It just can't happen, the whole gameplay would change.

Adding a weather feature that directly gives an advantage or disadvantage to a player based on what country they are from and what the weather is currently like in that country overall is a major disadvantage to countries that usually tend to have bad weather 90% of the year and a major advantage to countries that are hot most of the year. Therefore this idea would be silly and i doubt very much something inno would consider

Well. This problem could be solved if you don't charcterize the weather as good or bad. As it is in the real world always the same wheater isn't good, for example if it rains all day, there are caused damages by the masses of water. If it is always hot it's bad for farmers etc.

What if there would be a weather forecast (let's say for 30 days) this would solve some issues that are stated above.

Planning attacks: you know what weather condition it's going to be. Therefore, you can keep that in mind while planning.
Local weather: The conditions will be the same for every player, whether you're from England or Germany.
