I think this would be a very handy addition. Although, for now, you can use village groups to convey some preset messages, like 'cleared', 'not cleared', 'cleared but player is still defending', 'high wall, don't farm', 'heavily farmed by others, farm minimally'. But my groups list is quickly growing to the point where I will have to scroll to see all of them, so it would be very nice if we could get a note-taking function.
