When you are in the beginning of the game, really you don't pay much attention to the landmarks. You notice them, probably after a while you notice that another province has a different landmark.
But, you have no idea that the landmark actually has all the village information in that province, since there is no balloon popup. And to be honest, not many are going for a wiki, help, etc, to read everything about the game, before starting to play.
So I think it would be nice to have an info tab over it, just like for a village. A simple short one like "Province Information".
