Shift hotkey

Can the shift hotkey go back to being crtl? It used to work even if the cursor was in a text box like in the barracks but now if I don't want to recruit anything in a village I have to click the arrow or click out the box for the hotkey to work again.

There were too many instances where CTRL also were a default hotkey for the browsers. So it is better using SHIFT key for compatibility.
