Rejected Non graphical village overview

Congratulations on having some pretty pictures, but I really don't need them. This game is not about graphics and it shouldn't pretend to be. Please give me the option to just have non graphical village overviews.

Hello Muldeh,

Thank you for your post. The graphics we use are intended to enhance your playing experience and provide a simple and visual city overview. I understand that you may have played the original Tribal Wars, however a view with only tables and charts is not what we are aiming for, and it is unfortunate that you do not like our approach. Perhaps the endgame features which appear in the game will be more to your liking. Thank you for your feedback.

Alright then, thanks for the reply. I'm not saying that the graphics are bad, just that i'd like the option to disable them. Ohwell. :)

Yeah, most people seem to like pretty graphics, and so they might as well only make the graphics that most people will use.

Looks like editing doesn't really work on mobile, so I apologize for the double post.

What endgame features are you referring to? You make it sound like they haven't been added yet. Is this not a feature-complete beta?

I don't think the beta needs those end game features at this stage :D

regarding the graphics, I like them really much, but it would be cool if there was a link on the loading screen to a version without those heavy graphics and special effects, so that one can play the game even if the internet connection is not so good. A friend of mine already experienced some timeout errors, it would not surprise me if they are related to the heavy graphics.

I don't disagree, and I apologize for maybe coming off as a bit of an *******. I just find it kinda silly that they keep referring to these 'late-game features' that will be so special, but they can't give even the tiniest detail.

That's a fair point. But I guess those with slow internet connections are not the target for this game. Although hopefully the mobile versions are more tolerant of slow connections.

Dawolf I think he means in the late game you will be spending more time on the overviews/mass recruit type screens than on individual village overviews.

Oh well then in that case then yeah I can't wait to try out them. Each of the hall of orders factions seem so good I'm not sure which one I will like best yet.
