Nobleman used

I had originally thought that if you used or lost a nobleman and it was your only nobleman it would just cost 1 mint coin to replace him, but the game regards this as the second nobleman even if you have no nobleman left and you pay 3 mints coins instead of 1?

If a noble man dies in taking a villa or by being attacked you don't need to mint coins to replace him. However if you have used him to take a villa you will need to mint coins to get the next noble as he has been used for his purpose. If that villa is nobled by another player the coins are returned to you so you can rebuild him to noble again.
