So our tribe has a bit of an issue. We're a powerful tribe, but our founder has been inactive since the first week of the game. We're trying to make room for another tribe to merge into our tribe, but we can't get rid of our low-pointed founder. There should be an option to kick a founder if (s)he has been inactive for a certain amount of time.

I agree. It's simple. Perhaps have seniority in ranks so as to have a second in command (or at least the earliest designated leader) take the position if the original founder goes inactive for more than a week.
