The empty moat between the clay pit and tavern is bugging me and the people in my tribe. Please update the graphic at some point.

I think that´s deliberate. Look next to the lake, there is a dam.

Yes, but lot of us do not find it aesthetically pleasing in the long term. It is not bad artwork at all, but having a ditch that is never filled is a slightly annoying, maybe cause my mind wants symmetry with the moat.

I changed the status of this idea to "On_Hold". I don´t think it is necessary atm.

That ditch might fill with water or hot lava, when we start building Fortress-es

I agree. Adding options to fill the moat with water, crocodiles, burning oil and others which provide varying defense bonuses could be a nice way to spice up the game
