Hey guys,

How tough is the Academy to destroy with cats? it says on wiki that is has 500 hitpoints, how many cats (or waves) would it take to destroy it? (I ask as one of my neighbours built an early academy, and i don't want him to get a noble too soon)

Also does hit points regenerate over time?

*Hit points do not regenerate.
*Destroying a building depends on his/her Wall level and amount of Def troops.

But, i think after destroying the wall totally, you will get far with 300 cats.

What about small waves of 10-20 cats? Or would that take too long?

Waves of cats work better than a single attack. However you need an escort for them, don't send them on their own!

No one has yet complied a cat/ram graph to show how many cats/rams are needed in an attack to destroy levels of buildings/walls. It's something i would like to see.

Academy has pretty high hit points right?, which is why im doubting my attack as if it takes me to long he can rebuild his defenses by dodging (Esp with his lv 10 hospital bringing back a lot of his troops) We are in our 1000-2000 point range and i only have 20 cats atm (Takes me roughly an 1 hr 30 mins to get there).

Update: After some testing i've come to the conclusion (Based on the hitpoints provided from TW2 wiki) that 1 catapult = 1 hitpoint off a building. So if i attacked with 10 cats i would take 10 hitpoints of a building (Say for example the barracks lv 10 grants 10 hitpoints when you level it from lv 9, it would go back down to lv 9 with my 10 cats. Each level of the building adds to the total amount of Hitpoints therefor increasing how much it can sustain from a attack. Also same deal with Rams apparently). This could be completely false, but it is a basis to work from.

So to the answer of my question, an academy would need to sustain 500 total cat attacks. Again not 100% sure, would need proppa testing (Just putting this out for anyone interested)
